Sit Down. Sober Up, Buttercup.
Feelings, they move mountains though unseen,
Their power immense, yet intangible, they rise.
Addiction clouds the mind, distorts the scene,
And leaves you lost in fog beneath dark skies.
When bound by someone’s wrongs, the truth remains,
Yet muddled by the weight of all that’s past,
Anxiety, depression, twisted chains,
Make light of clarity a distant task.
But in the struggle, there’s a simple truth:
The hardest part was faced when you decided.
To understand yourself, you need the proof
That clarity won’t come if you’re divided.
So here’s the key, the one that you can hold:
You’ll find your own way – sober and controlled.
